A Venue for Family Reunions

Snowy Waters Lodge is an ideal venue for getting family or friends together for a birthday, special occasion or just to spend a weekend away. We are centrally located so for family travelling from Auckland, Wellington, Napier or New Plymouth the drive is of a similar distance. Our 2.5 acres of park like grounds, The Snowy Train, onsite playground, outdoor heated spa pools and pet goat are great for keeping the kids entertained.

Exclusive venue hire is available for groups of up to 40 people. There is plenty of off-street carparking, 11 double, twin triple and quad rooms in the Lodge and a further 4 rooms in the adjoining Villa. We have an extensive outdoor entertainment area perfect for leisurely breakfasts, mid-summer barbies and drinks around the outdoor fireplace.

Our fully equipped Villa and Lodge kitchens allow you to self-cater, keeping costs to a minimum. Or for a more formal occasion, Angel Louise Café and Restaurant has a large private dining room with open fireplace and bifolding doors opening out to a secluded garden area. Set menu’s start at $35 per person.

During winter skiing and snowboarding is just stones throw from Snowy Waters Lodge and in summer choose from a jetboat trip, mountain bike ride or walk.
